About me

Sally Wood
I am a qualified psychotherapist working with adults across a range of concerns.
My path through life has been varied and I've learnt that when we reconsider how we participate in life, we can discover ways to live more fully and effectively.
It is my experience that through a willingness to reflect and understand ourselves, we can gain a clearer sense of purpose that feels more aligned with who we are, enabling us to participate in life in ways we didn’t realise were possible.
I am a white British woman and my path through life has been pretty varied, involving both typical and less typical experiences.
Like many British people, my heritage has been influenced by the workhouse, war, the disappearance of traditional trades and the clash of wealth and power. My lifetime reflects these generational influences alongside the rapid growth of materialism and technological advancement, which we are all continuing to navigate.
One of my qualities and privileges has been the ability to reflect deeply on my life and train to bring these experiences into my psychotherapy practice.
