What I can help with
We might feel in conflict with something or someone. We might feel numb, indifferent, or not much at all. We might be striving to do better or become more. Or we may have collapsed under pressure, struggling to get back up.
There are so many ways of experiencing being human that it's impossible to cover them all. What often brings people to therapy, however, is a sense that something in their lives has become difficult to understand, manage or sustain.
Whether through pursuit or struggle, we may have learned to turn away from painful or frightening experiences. These ways of coping may once have served us well, but maintaining them can also take a toll on our bodies, minds and emotions. Over time, this may emerge as symptoms or difficulties that bring us to therapy.

Sometimes, what we are seeking may be lost, forgotten or not yet developed aspects of ourselves.
Turning towards our inner experience can open possibilities for greater understanding, resilience, vitality and a fuller sense of who we are.
